Our story did not begin with a large factory or a grand business plan. It began in 1998, in a humble studio in Hanoi, with a simple but powerful belief from our founder, Mr. Vũ Đề
The dexterity and essence of Vietnamese hands (tinh hoa của bàn tay người Việt) could create dental restorations that were not just good, but were true works of art.
In a time when the industry was young, this was a vision built on passion. It was a commitment to a craft, a belief that a perfect restoration was more than a product—it was a promise of health and confidence to another human being. This was the seed from which Detec grew; not from capital, but from a deep-seated desire to bring a new level of artistry and integrity to the craft of dentistry.
Our Journey of Development
The path from that small studio to the globally recognized institution we are today was not easy. It was a journey of nearly 30 years, a testament to the belief that things forged through long effort, determination, and even failure, hold the highest value.
1998
With his family’s experience and traditions in the field of dental prostheses, Mr. Vu De founded Vu De Dental Restoration Center (Vude Dental Lab) with an initial area of 30 square meters and 10 dedicated technicians with job.
2006
The company was honored to receive the gold medal for the title of high quality product.
2008
Transformed into a joint stock company with a scale of 75 employees, expanded the factory up to 100 m2, and received ISO 9001: 2008 quality certification.
2009
Establishment of the Dental Technician Training Center – Detec Dental School. Provides intensive courses in prosthetics with international standard textbooks. The training scale per year is up to 100 trainees.
2016
Become a member of the National Association of Dental Laboratory (NADL), sign many export contracts to other countries and increase the number of qualified technicians.
Achieve FDA certificate
2019
Marking the 20-year milestone of establishment and development with 120 professional technicians, the 600 m2 factory is fully equipped with modern equipment. Become a prestigious partner of more than 1500 dental clinics.
2020
Completing the first European standard Labo model in Vietnam, implement Lean 6 Sigma Project with supporting from Ivoclar Vivadent AG. The scale of the factory continued to expand with an area of 1200 m2. Focus on improving quality and expanding production to export.
2024
Officially launched SmartVeneer porcelain veneer product – “Useful solution” that minimizes invasiveness but still ensures the aesthetics and durability of teeth.
